The Dunut Pub is a cozy spot where you can grab really tasty donuts. Their French Cruller and Old Fashioned were especially amazing.they taste just like the ones from Mister Donut in Japan, which made me feel a little nostalgic. They’re light, not too sweet, and honestly so good that you’ll want to go back for another.If you’re interested, you should definitely check it out!

Hi there! It’s Suzu!

Today, I’d like to write about one of my favorite artists, Yayoi Kusama, who recently passed away.

When you hear the name Yayoi Kusama, you may picture her colorful polka dots or her famous collaboration with Louis Vuitton. But there are many fascinating parts of her life that people may not know about—such as why she continued to create her signature polka dots, the years she spent living in New York, and the fact that she continued making art while living in a psychiatric hospital.

Kusama began experiencing hallucinations and hearing voices when she was just 10 years old. She continued to create her polka dot art as a way of escaping from these experiences and expressing what she was going through.

When I look at her work with that in mind, I see an artist who was incredibly pure, sensitive, beautiful, and powerful—truly one of a kind.

And her art goes far beyond polka dots. She left behind an incredible body of work in so many different forms.

If you ever have the chance to see her work in person, I highly recommend it. There is something very powerful about experiencing her art with your own eyes.
Rest in peace, Yayoi Kusama.

I went to a water park in Pennsylvania. It was a two-hour drive, and it was so refreshing to spend time surrounded by nature after such a long while. Since there’s on-site accommodation, it’s great that you can enjoy it as more than just a day trip!

A Little Peek Into My August
Hi everyone  August was an exciting month for me in New York! Outside of work, I enjoyed two incredible concerts Olivia Dean at Madison Square Garden and Ella Mai at Radio City Music Hall Living in New York has given me so many opportunities to experience amazing music, fashion, food, and culture. I’m really enjoying discovering something new every day and making memories along the way. Here’s to another exciting month in NYC!
