I recently found a real matcha drink in NYC!Sometimes matcha drinks here don’t taste like the ones in Japan, even at very popular cafes. But I was so surprised when I tried this one—it actually tasted like real matcha, and it wasn’t overly sweet, which I loved!You should definitely try it if you get a chance. The cafe is called Isshiki Matcha, and I went to the one inside the Ace Hotel.I was honestly so happy to find a good matcha spot in NYC! This time, i will introduce a traditional Japanese dessert (Wagashi) store.
The name of the store is Warabi Mochi Kamakura. They also have stores in Japan, but they finally opened in Chelsea, New York this month.
They have different kinds of warabi mochi. Kinako, cinnamon, black sesame, etc.My favorite is Kinako.They also have a lot of matcha-based drinks. Please try it.

I really enjoyed trying Georgian food for the first time! The dumplings were juicy and flavorful, very similar to Chinese dumplings, and the cheese pie was warm, crispy on the outside, and so cheesy and so delicious!

Are you enjoying the short fall season in New York?
In September, I celebrated another year of life.
As I get older, I find myself realizing more and more how quickly time passes.
Having lived about half of my life, I’ve come to appreciate the simple things even more.
I’m grateful for my health and for being able to work and do what I love.
I’m grateful for good food, for all the emotions that make life meaningful, and for the changing seasons.
Most of all, I’m grateful for all the people I’ve met along the way , my family, my friends, and everyone who has been a part of my journey.
I’m especially grateful to have found my way back to New York and to be starting this new chapter here.
To everyone who has supported me, and to all of my wonderful clients at T-Gardens, thank you from the bottom of my heart
