Lisa/Top stylist

Hi everyone.This is Lisa.
I hope you’ve been doing well and enjoying the warmer days. As ice cream season is just around the corner, I wanted to share one of my favorite spots with you. It’s a shop in the Upper East Side called Sedutto.
Sedutto has an amazing variety of ice cream, so you can always find something that fits your mood. I always get the rum raisin when I go — it’s rich, delicious, and the scoop is surprisingly big, so it feels like a great deal. If you love ice cream, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

Hi everyone, this is Mako!
How is your spring going?
For me, spring has been a little challenging because of seasonal allergies, but I’m happy to finally enjoy the warmer weather.
By the way, Capital One Café is offering free handcrafted drinks every Monday through September 7th. There’s a location at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue, just a 5-minute walk from our salon.
If you have an appointment on a Monday, you can stop by and grab a free coffee or tea before your visit!
I’m looking forward to helping you get ready for summer with a fresh new hairstyle.
See you soon!

Hi everyone,

This time I will introduce a Japanese restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen.
The name is heno heno.
You can eat Japanese food at this restaurant, but my recommendation is Okinawa-style soba. Okinawa soba is a soul food from Okinawa, Japan.
please try it.

I found yummy recipes online. I would like to share with everyone. This dumpling lasagna is one of those recipes easy, impressive, and packed with flavor, it creates steam as the dumpling wrappers cook, keeping everything tender, juicy, and perfectly set. It’s easy, impressive, and full of flavor. If you love dumplings and enjoy trying new things, this recipe is worth making.

Hello everyone, it’s is Suzu!

Recently, I started drinking clove water. Cloves are believed to help support digestion, stabilize blood sugar levels, and strengthen the immune system.
I soak 4–5 cloves in water overnight and drink the infused water in the morning, in the evening, or after a heavy meal. Since I started drinking it in the morning, I’ve noticed that my stomach seems to wake up more quickly and my digestion feels different.
The recipe is incredibly simple—just soak 4–5 cloves in water overnight. It has a pleasant aroma and is surprisingly enjoyable to drink. Give it a try and see how you like it!

P.S. I will be on summer vacation from June 29 through July 17.

Rei /Senior stylist

Hello everyone this is Rei.
I bought Umaibo on Amazon. It’s a snack that has been loved in Japan for a long time. Each one costs about 15 yen, and it comes in many different flavors. Living in the U.S., I sometimes miss these nostalgic Japanese snacks.
I also learned about Tomokazu Matsuyama, a contemporary artist based in New York, who used this snack to create artwork — a single piece of “Umaibo art” that was sold for 100,000 yen. At auction, one of these pieces reportedly sold for over 1 million yen.
The reason he created this artwork was to ask:
“Why does an ordinary 15-yen Umaibo become worth over 100,000 yen when it is placed in the context of art and given a sense of exclusivity?”
He explained that he wanted to challenge society to think about whether familiar everyday products can gain new value through the concept of art.
In other words, it’s contemporary art that makes us think:
What determines the value of something — its contents, its brand, its rarity, or the story behind it?
Through this, I learned not only about Japanese snacks, but also about talented Japanese people making an impact in New York.
If you’re interested, give this snack a try — and check out the artist too!

Houston’s long summer is here again!

With the strong sun and humid weather, a mint shampoo feels incredibly refreshing. It helps cool down the scalp, remove sweat and excess oil, and leaves your hair feeling clean and refreshed.

I especially recommend using a mint shampoo on hot days or after exercise when you’ve been sweating a lot.

Just keep in mind that mint shampoos can be a bit stronger than regular shampoos, so they’re best enjoyed a few times a week if you have colored hair.

Stay cool and enjoy the summer!
