Lisa/Top stylist

Hello This is Lisa.
This time, I’d like to introduce some delicious bread.Justin’s Salt Bread is the first bakery in New York City dedicated entirely to shio-pan, located in the heart of East Village. The classic Japanese salt bread—crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, with buttery richness soaking into the bottom—is recreated here with a refined NYC touch. The minimalist, calm interior makes it a comfortable spot to enjoy their pastries along with coffee or matcha drinks.
When I visited, the warm aroma of freshly baked bread filled the shop, instantly lifting my mood. One thing I especially recommend is tearing the salt bread into pieces and dipping it into their cream options. Whether it’s the sweet cream or the matcha cream, the combination of buttery saltiness and gentle sweetness creates a delightful contrast, making each bite feel a little different. It almost transforms the simple salt bread into a dessert, which is such a fun surprise.
It’s a great place for anyone craving Japanese-style salt bread or looking to discover a new bakery in NYC—easy to stop by, yet surprisingly satisfying.
If you’re in the area, it’s the perfect excuse to check it out.

Hi, this is Mako!
How has your snow season been so far?
This was the first time in my life I experienced this much snow!
It was so powdery that I couldn’t even make a snowball, so I made a snow angel instead. That was the fun part

Other than that… it’s been very cold every day.
Please stay warm and healthy.

I’ll be visiting Japan to see my family from March 7 to April 7.
If you’re planning ahead, please feel free to book your appointments accordingly.

I’m looking forward to seeing you soon for your Valentine’s hair

Hello everyone,

it’s still very cold in New York.
Are you all enjoying the restaurant week that started at the end of January?
My recommendation is Yakiniku Futago.
The restaurant week menu has both lunch and dinner, so you can eat delicious yakiniku at a lower price than usual. Please try there.
If you have a recommended restaurant, please let me know.
Thank you.

Did everyone get through the cold snowstorm okay?

These days AI is a big topic. When you use it well, it’s incredibly convenient, sometime we rely on it too much, but you can make fun things like this with it.
Fen’s imaginary girlfriend her name is Haru.
This makes me want another puppy!

Hi there! It’s Suzu!
Today, I’d love to introduce a Japanese film that I truly recommend.
Kokuho (National Treasure), a major box-office hit in Japan and an Academy Award–nominated film, will be screening in New York starting this February.
This powerful film explores tradition, identity, and the weight of cultural heritage. The performances are outstanding, and the visually striking kabuki scenes are absolutely mesmerizing. It left such an impression on me that I’m planning to watch it again.
If you’re interested, I highly recommend checking it out.

Rei /Senior stylist

Hi everyone this is Rei.
This is a new lemon sour that recently started being sold in Japan. It has real lemons inside the canned shochu cocktail! When I went back to Japan last time, I searched everywhere but couldn’t find it, but this time my boyfriend found it during his business trip to Singapore and brought it back for me! If you like lemon sours, you should definitely try it!! It’s a unique style of lemon sour, and you can really taste the flavor of real lemons!! You might find it in Japan or other parts of Asia, so be sure to try it if you travel there!

Recently, I received a wine aerator as a moving-in gift from a friend!

I’m not particularly knowledgeable about wine, but when I tried using the aerator, the flavor felt a little smoother and more mellow. Maybe wine lovers can notice the difference even more clearly!
It actually made me interested in learning more about red wine.
I also love how stylish it looks. it’s nice enough to leave out as part of my home décor, not just as a wine accessory.

Hello everyone!This is Leo.

This month, I took a ferry in New York and went to an outlet mall. The outlet didn’t have much, so I didn’t buy anything. But riding the ferry felt amazing! Feeling the wind, seeing the city from the water, and just being out there—it really lifted my mood. Sometimes, it’s not about what you get, but the little experiences along the way.
