I spent some quality time with my family in Japan (and maybe ate a little too much. I’ve gained a few pounds!). Now, I’m trying to work it off, but it’s a challenge!

Today I’d like to introduce a Japanese restaurant that I recommend.

It’s Shin Rokko in Hell’s Kitchen. This is a tonkatsu restaurant, and their specialty is low-temperature cooked dishes. Low-temperature cooked tonkatsu becomes even tender and more delicious. The regular sauce is also delicious, but my recommendation is the oroshi ponzu sauce. Please give it a try.

This winter is very cold I hope everyone stays warm and healthy. This glove is amazing for this dry winter. My hands have been fairly dry this winter, and with just one use I noticed improvement. It absorbs pretty well and my hands felt so soft! My only complaint is the gloves are a little hard to open and fasten them. But I do recommend it!

The chocolate croissant at Delices de Maurice is big and super delicious! The inside of the shop has a lovely European vibe!
